Getting saved is the "first step" in beginning to walk in the victory that the Word of God gives us.
The Bible says in Rom 3:23-
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Jesus said in John 3:3-
..."Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Paul said in 2 Cor 5:17-
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Paul also said in Rom 10:9-10
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior we become "Born Again" and God places us "in Christ" and our spirit becomes brand new.

Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I ask forgiveness and repent for my sins. I confess with my mouth that I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior and I believe with my heart that He rose from the dead to give me eternal life with God. According to God's Word I am saved.

God now looks upon you as His child. His greatest desire is to bless you in every area of your life.
I encourage you to start attending a church that teaches the fullness of God's Word. This will allow you to begin the great blessings that God has for you in His Word.
